Although the pasta is second fiddle, I like to serve this sauce with traditional spaghetti noodles and turn it into creamy spaghetti or as my kids call it, “fancy spaghetti”.

How to Make Creamy Tomato Sauce
This delicious sauce has tomato sauce, herbs, heavy cream, and parmesan. The perfect mixture of yumminess. Yes, I know that might not be a new word but it is the only thing that can possibly encapsulate the perfection of this recipe.
Put 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil in a pan and heat it on medium.
Add a diced onion and cook until it’s tender. Then add 2 tbsps of minced garlic. Stir until the garlic is fragrant, about 1 minute.
Next, I add 1 tbsp of Italian seasoning, 1 tsp of garlic powder, 1 tsp of onion powder, 1/2 tsp of red pepper flakes, and 1 tsp of salt to the pan and toast the spices for 30 seconds. Stir the entire time.
Add your favorite jar of tomato sauce to the pan and stir all the ingredients together. I like to use garlic and herb tomato sauce but you can use whatever is handy. Let the spices and the sauce simmer together for about 5 minutes on medium-low heat.
Add 1 cup of heavy cream and stir. Let this simmer for 5 minutes. Then stir in 1 cup of parmesan. Now all you have to do is serve with your favorite pasta and fresh parmesan.
