Encouraging Faith Quotes

His will. His way. My Faith

His will. His way. My faith.

God does not erode the free will that He has given us. This is why we must invite God into our lives and intentionally pray for His will to go forth in our lives. Then we will have opened the door to His will and His way, but He needs our faith. It’s the perfect recipe.

ask God, not Google

2. Ask God. Not Google.

We’re so quick to pop Google open and begin to seek answers, but how often do we stop and pray before we start making moves? How often do we open the Bible and seek God’s stance on things before we ask the world? Yes, we can search Google for answers, but our hearts should desire God’s words before man’s.

We aren't called to be like other Christians, we're called to be like Christ.

3. We aren’t called to be like other Christians, we’re called to be like Christ.

It’s so easy to compare our lives to other Christians, but we should be comparing our hearts to Christ’s. He is the measuring stick.

I say this often, but it is so true, I love that my husband loves God more than me. I love that he pursued God’s help to understand and help heal me. If you are single, hide yourself in God’s word. Let his salvation and righteousness cover you. As God to fortify you in Him.

pray about it as much as you think about it

5. Pray about it as much as you think about it.

Worrying is like rocking in a rocking chair, it gives you something to do, but it gets you nowhere….and it burns your energy. Instead, use that energy to pray. When you take your heart to God in prayer you are giving Him your deepest desires and worries. In exchange, He gives you peace and joy.

The more we look at God, the bigger He gets and the smaller our problems seem.

6. The more we look at God, the bigger He gets and the smaller our problems seem.

Change our focus, change your perspective. Don’t look at how large the mountain is, look at how large your God is. The more we worship God, the bigger He gets, and the smaller our problems seem.

Tomorrow isn't promised but when you live for Jesus, eternity is.

7. Tomorrow isn’t promised but when you live for Jesus, eternity is.

My husband says this often. Let’s all adopt the eternity mindset. This is what the disciples had. They kept this mindset until death. Because of that, we will see them on that day.

Sometimes it isn't about the answer to the prayer. Sometimes it's about what you learn while waiting for the answer.

8. Sometimes it isn’t about the answer to the prayer. Sometimes it’s about what you learn while waiting for the answer.

We are so afraid to suffer. Don’t be afraid to suffer. Be afraid of not learning what God is trying to teach you.

9. Every big miracle starts with a big problem.

9. Every big miracle starts with a big problem.

Look at every big obstacle as a big opportunity for God to show up in a big way! Pray. Wait. Expect!

faith is an action not a feeling

10. Faith is an action, not a feeling.

We often think that we can drum up the feeling of faith and if we’re honest, sometimes we’re just not feeling it. Try to shift your focus. Don’t focus on feeling faith-filled, instead, read God’s word and take Him at His word, then begin to move like you believe it.
